This year's national day parade may well be the last for homegrown singer Kit Chan.

The songstress, who is synonymous with the NDP hit song Home, said the Jubilee Parade is "likely my last NDP".

"There is no better ending than in the Golden Jubilee," said the the 42-year-old, who debuted Home in the 1998 NDP and went on to perform in the 2007 and 2010 parades.

The singer will sing Home at the finale of this year's parade.
