LOS ANGELES - Watching Bill Hader play a host of memorably over-the-top characters on the sketch show Saturday Night Live (SNL), you might never guess the comedian suffered from near-crippling anxiety at the time.
Nor, perhaps, would you expect him to also be a talented director, writer and dramatic actor, as the accolades for Barry - the series he created last year (2018) - would suggest.
