Empowerment starts with a scribble. Rebellion with a heart.
In her book, on the page which has a drawing of a young woman with pink hair, my granddaughter has scrawled a heart. Maybe it's just a passing sketch of no meaning. But maybe it's a childish connection with the young woman who has RECKLESS on her T-shirt, a cap turned backwards and a motorcycle in the background. Maybe it's the lovely start of a sporting girl crush.
