Mars, 32, is one of most successful solo singers in the contemporary pop scene. His songs like Just the Way You Are and Grenade, both from his 2010 debut solo album Doo-Wops & Hooligans, as well as That's What I Like from his third and most recent album released in 2016, 24K Magic, have gone to No.1 in the United States and around the world.

His collaborations with other artists, on songs like Nothin' on You with American rapper B.o.B (2009) and Billionaire (2010) with another American rapper, Travie McCoy, have also hit No.1 in charts worldwide.
