This was the year almost everyone worked from home - or lived at work, depending on whom you ask.
To cater to those going stir-crazy from being at home 24/7, hotels, cinemas and even Jewel Changi Airport have turned underused restaurants, bars and lounges into co-working spaces, offering a seat, power plug and speedy Wi-Fi for as little as $15 a day. Many packages come with snacks and free-flow coffee and tea, just like an office pantry.
