LONDON - Many parents wish for their children to go to university after secondary school, but that was not the case for whisky master blender Sandy Hyslop.

"My father was quite forceful that I should get a job. He had seen his friends' children going to university for four years, but struggle afterwards," the born-and-bred Scotsman tells The Straits Times.
