SINGAPORE - When Mr Usaid Umar and two of his friends rented a garden plot at Social Innovation Park in Punggol in February this year, they quickly turned it into a "man cave".

Mr Usaid, 34, a civil servant, says: "You can't go on holiday because of Covid-19, so this is a diversion. We catch up and talk about plants in our man cave. Sometimes, friends pop by."
