BANGKOK – For years, my Bangkok trips followed a familiar script – Thong Lo district’s trendy haunts, Chinatown’s bustling streets and the gleaming malls of Siam.
But during my latest visit in December 2024, I wander into Song Wat, a neighbourhood just behind Chinatown that has been quietly undergoing a transformation.
