RWANDA – Poacher-turned-safari guide Janvier Twizeyimana, 44, is telling me how he used to catch animals with snares when we approach a herd of African buffaloes along the brick-red dust trails of Akagera National Park.
“I used to trap these. I know how they taste,” he says, matter-of-factly.
