SINGAPORE – The Straits Times’ travel section was named Travel Section of the Year at the inaugural TravMedia Awards Asia, which recognises excellence in travel media and public relations.
Awards were given out in eight categories on Oct 14 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, in conjunction with travel conference International Media Marketplace Asia 2025.
The awards were independently judged by a panel of editors, journalists and communications experts, who recognised ST Travel – part of the newspaper’s Life section – for “its balance of accessibility and quality, elevating everyday journeys and highlighting lesser-known voices”. Finalists for the awards came from across the region, including Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong.
