SINGAPORE – I remember the first time I went climbing at Batu Caves in Malaysia. Upon reaching the top of the route – my hands shaking from the sheer height and my feet hurting from the tight rubber shoes – an overwhelming sense of awe washed over me as I marvelled at the view.
