Disney Adventure

, Wayfinder Bay is where live music, splashing kids and sea views come together in one open-air stretch.

Perched on Deck 10, the space blends a family-friendly pool deck with the easygoing feel of an outdoor theatre – the sort of place where kids are happily entertained, and adults can settle into a lounge chair and take in the sea breeze.

One of the highlights here is Moana: Call of the Sea, a live musical staged poolside that retells the heroine’s ocean voyage.

You do not need to know the film to follow along. The storytelling is clear and colourful, designed to keep all guests engaged, while upbeat music and movement give the show an easy, feel-good energy.

Performances make use of a jumbo LED screen, while tiered seating and loungers ensure clear sightlines throughout the space. Some guests watch intently, while others half-watch while sipping on a cold drink – both feel equally welcome here.

Between shows, Wayfinder Bay works just as well as a place to linger. The design takes its cues from the Pacific Islands, using neutral tones layered with patterns and splashes of colour inspired by Polynesian textiles.

Murals referencing traditional ocean navigation add a quiet sense of exploration. Children will notice the details from the film first, and the adults will likely appreciate that the space still feels calm.

There is a shallow wading pool with a built-in sun shelf for younger guests, and plenty of seating for parents who prefer to stay dry. Drinks are available from Wayfinder Bar, making it easy to settle in for an afternoon outdoors without feeling rushed.

Dining options nearby turn Wayfinder Bay into a natural meeting point. The adults-exclusive Palo Trattoria serves Italian dishes such as seafood, steaks and pastas in a more refined setting, while Palo Cafe sits on a cobblestone patio offering espresso and light bites, inspired by the Italian seaside town of Portorosso from Disney and Pixar’s Luca.

Just opposite is Mike & Sulley’s – Flavors of Asia, a dining space that is inspired by the Japanese-style eatery in Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. It brings together several concepts, from a full-service Japanese steakhouse to a teppanyaki room, a chic bar with omakase-style dining, and outdoor sushi and sashimi offerings for those who enjoy dining alfresco.

For children, Wayfinder Bay is a space where familiar stories come to life, inviting them to imagine their own adventures across the open sea. For adults, it is simply a breezy deck with sea views, food close at hand and enough happening to keep everyone content – which, on a holiday shared with others, may be the biggest luxury of all.
