I remember drinking the strangest beers in America's Indiana state when I was a student and pizza-and-beer was the daily diet for college kids. Imagine raspberry India Pale Ale and peach sour ales aged in rye barrels.
Such rule-breaking brews are a long way from Prohibition in the United States, in the days when the ban on production, importation and sales of alcoholic beverages kept Americans "dry".
