PERU – The last Inca king may have died in 1533, but his empire is still very much alive in Peru, some 500 years later.
Every other thing reminds me of the great heritage that the Incas left behind – from intricately assembled stone walls lining the former capital of Cusco right down to Inca Kola, the sweet soft drink with a golden hue that calls to mind the golden artefacts, handicraft, jewellery and other treasures that the Incas were well known for.
