TASMANIA – The island off Australia is known for its great produce, whether farmed or fished from its pristine waters, so it is no wonder that the state also boasts excellent restaurants.

Everywhere I went during my trip in June 2024, I was greeted with menus that highlighted Tasmanian ingredients – from people’s own gardens or nearby farms, or even wild animals like wallaby. Fallow deer is also hunted for meat as it is not native to Australia and threatens the local wildlife.
