MELBOURNE – Melbourne prides itself on being the cultural capital of Australia, the place to watch performances and savour great art. I have walked in its laneways to see its famous street art. I have also visited the lovely National Gallery of Victoria.
But who would have thought that my most enjoyable arty experience would find me surrounded by salad leaves and bins of compost?
