SINGAPORE - Social media has made stars of fashionistas, politicians, chefs and, now, doctors.

One such medical influencer is New York family medicine doctor Mikhail "Mike" Varshavski. He fact-checks politicians on Covid-19, reacts to medical dramas such as Grey's Anatomy (2005 to present) and answers questions for his 16 million followers across various social media platforms.
