SINGAPORE – Before security guard Gary Koh got his break in publishing in 2022, he was struggling to make ends meet.
The former freelance sports writer, whose career nosedived because of a badly misjudged tweet, recalls: “At times, I had to ask my dad for a bit of money to eat.”
