SINGAPORE – Quiet quitting was such a buzzword in 2022 that the Collins Dictionary included it in its Word of the Year list.

Defined as “the practice of doing no more work than one is contractually obliged to do”, it took social media by storm in July when musician @zaidlepplin posted on TikTok about the trend.
