Wearables can offer rough information about a person’s health, experts say, but only some metrics are medically useful.

NEW YORK – US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr has called wearable devices, like smartwatches or smart rings, a way for people to “take control over their own health” and “a key” to the Make America Healthy Again agenda.

These devices, often called wearables, can provide a feed of useful data, including your step count, heart rate, sleep quality and calories burned.
