SINGAPORE – When it comes to saying “I do”, diamonds continue to play a leading role.
According to a report by the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, which tracks the global diamond trade, worldwide demand for diamonds has been growing steadily over the past decade, with an average annual growth rate of about 2.5 per cent since 2009 to reach US$79 billion (S$105.5 billion) in 2019.
