Trendsetters will know that Gentle Monster and Blue Elephant are no longer the It South Korean eyewear labels to shop. A new player has entered the chat and with more affordable prices.
Launched in Seoul in 2023, Muut is increasingly gaining ground for its quiet minimalism and trendy styles. The pieces err on timeless but with the right touch of edginess that make them contemporary and covetable.
Prices start at $99 for frames and sunglasses in the Y.LAB, S.LAB and G.LAB ranges.

Muut recently opened its first international flagship store at The Cathay, with interiors that integrate stone, wood and metal textures with curved displays for a gallery-like flow. Orchid and stone installations pay tribute to Singapore’s botanical heritage, alongside moss textures within the display surfaces.
You can also find seasonal collections here, including the Muut x 3CE collaboration (from $109) of funky pastel designs and the latest GON series (from $109) of stainless-steel creations.

Put your skin to work at night with Noble Panacea’s latest launch.
The luxury skincare brand – the only one founded by a Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, the late Sir Fraser Stoddart – centres all its products on its proprietary organic super molecular vessel (OSMV) technology, an ingredient encapsulation and delivery system that is said to programme and precisely release potent actives in sync with the skin’s biorhythm.
The Absolute Peptide8 Night Serum ($750) addresses skin repair by targeting the skin’s circadian rhythm known as chronobiology.

The key ingredient here is a blend of eight peptides said to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin. The OSMV technology ensures that this blend is protected until it is the optimal time – between 2 and 4am, said to be the peak of cellular renewal – to be released at the molecular level.
Other ingredients in the formula include althaea rosea petal stem cells, a bio-tech, lab-grown ingredient that targets senescent cells, also known as “zombie” cells that are no longer able to regenerate.
Info: Available at Noble Panacea counters at Tangs at Tang Plaza and Takashimaya Department Store
