Louis Vuitton Tambour High-End And Ceramic
Louis Vuitton has unveiled three new models in its revamped Tambour collection.
The Tambour Ceramic ($99,500) sports a unique internal rose-gold container shielded by brown ceramic. Its sleek two-tone integrated bracelet showcases a rose-gold backbone with ceramic links.
The brown dial, adorned with rose-gold indices and hands, pays homage to Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas. Crafting the ceramic components takes 90 hours, with artisans spending 45 hours on hand-finishing.
The Tambour Yellow Gold Onyx ($172,000), meanwhile, is limited to 30 pieces. It has an 18K yellow-gold case and a striking onyx dial, enhanced by a bezel adorned with 59 saffron-coloured sapphires inspired by a 1911 “Vuittonite” trunk. The intricate design includes a minute ring made of 12 Brazilian onyx pieces.
Finally, the Tambour Platinum Rainbow ($199,000) has a show-stopping bezel adorned with 59 baguette-cut sapphires and rubies, totalling approximately 2.5 carats, arranged in a rainbow gradient. It is limited to 50 pieces.
All three 40mm watches are 8.3mm thick and powered by the LFT023.01 calibre which boasts a 50-hour power reserve.

The watch has a case which grabs attention with its unique, striated appearance that craftily catches and dances with the light. It is powered by the CRMT5 Calibre, an in-house automatic tourbillon movement featuring baseplate and bridges made of 18K gold.
The skeletonised architecture of the movement includes a tourbillon regulator and a variable-geometry rotor in red gold and platinum. It has a 50-hour power reserve and is water-resistant to 50m.
