Lancome Express rolls into Paragon

Christmas has come early, thanks to Lancome. The French beauty brand, which turns 90 in 2025, is celebrating with a holiday pop-up filled with games, sweets and beauty treats.

All aboard the Lancome Express at Metro Paragon, which has been turned into a pink-and-gold scene right out of a Christmas movie. After checking in at the Ticket Counter to get your boarding pass, complete activities at three checkpoints to receive a three-piece Lancome Idole Fragrance Kit.

For example, play the digital dart game for a shot at winning a 30ml Idole Hand Cream. Or snap a photo at the train and tag @lancomeofficial and #lancomesg when you post on social media. Finally, receive a skin analysis or get pampered with an Absolue Hand Massage using the Absolue Longevity Soft Cream in the First Class Cabin.

You can also shop products such as the brand’s iconic lipgloss Juicy Tubes ($36), back from the 1990s, and limited-edition holiday sets, including the Lancome Beauty Box. The 11-piece kit (worth $800) is housed in a cosmetic case and available at $170 with a minimum $200 nett spending. Spend $390 to receive a Lancome Luggage Tag that you can personalise.

The pop-up includes a Parisian-style cafe in collaboration with Paul Cafe. With a minimum purchase of $290, receive a complimentary matcha latte, cappuccino or hot chocolate. From Friday to Sunday, you can also choose an additional Paul pastry, with the same minimum amount spent.

Local deodorant brand Blunies’ first pop-up

The Blunies Express pop-up at Bugis Junction is a tongue-in-cheek nod to sweaty MRT commutes.

Where does deodorant first come to mind? According to home-grown personal care brand Blunies, the MRT.

The brand has set up a tongue-in-cheek pop-up inspired by Singapore’s MRT trains, as a nod to how packed, sweaty commutes often bring to mind deodorant (or lack thereof).

Open until Oct 19, Blunies Express at Bugis Junction is meant to be a fun reminder that even if you skip the morning shower, applying deodorant is a small courtesy that makes a big difference.

It is the first pop-up for the brand, founded in 2022 by Singaporean fashion influencer Savina Chow and Indonesian influencer Catherine Halim.

Have a friend in dire need of a deodorant? Send him or her a “stink hint” in the form of a free deodorant through the anonymous postbox, while stocks last. Purchases cannot be made at the pop-up, but you can find Blunies at Guardian stores islandwide, on TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada and blunies.com

For inspiration for your year-end travels, check out American luggage brand Tumi’s pop-up, showcasing product highlights from its Fall 2025 and core collections. The brand draws from New York City this season to recreate a slice of the Big Apple in Ion Orchard, with two distinct zones emulating the city’s uptown polish and downtown edge.

The duality of NYC is reflected in the collection.

The Downtown zone with brownstone-inspired stoops showcases select styles from the Alpha and Voyageur lines in the debut Poster Print (from $260) – a layered, torn poster graphic that references the city’s street poster culture. In the Uptown zone, characterised by marble accents and sleek finishings, find seasonal colourways of the 19 Degree collection (from $1,190 for the International Carry-On), including Wine, inspired by autumn in Central Park.

On Oct 18 and 19, from 2 to 5pm, guests can redeem a New York classic bagel with cream cheese schmear with every new Tumi membership sign-up, which is free.
