Louis Vuitton set to release first beauty products

Louis Vuitton is making its first foray into beauty with the launch of La Beaute Louis Vuitton.

Set to debut in autumn 2025, the beauty line is helmed by Dame Pat McGrath, a renowned British make-up artist whose work has been spotted on the world’s top runways.

While this may be Louis Vuitton’s first dedicated beauty line, the French luxury fashion house’s history with beauty dates back to over a century. In the 1920s, it crafted vanity cases, powder compacts and toiletry kits for high-profile clientele, such as the late French opera singer Marthe Chenal. Even its earliest handbags were designed with compartments for cosmetics.

McGrath is no stranger to Louis Vuitton’s aesthetic and craftsmanship, having worked backstage at the brand’s runway shows for over two decades.

“The beauty universe is about so much more than just products,” she says. “What we are creating here will unlock a new level of luxury beauty.”

Further details on the product range have yet to be revealed.

Fossil x Minecraft collection

Fossil is bringing the pixelated charm of Minecraft into the real world with a brand-new, special-edition collection of watches, wallets, and jewelry.

A special Fossil x Minecraft collection has launched just ahead of the highly anticipated Minecraft Movie, which hits theatres on April 3.

Inspired by the pixelated world of the best-selling video game, the collaboration brings Minecraft’s blocky charm to the American brand’s range of watches, wallets and jewellery. Minecraft, released in 2011, has sold more than 300 million copies by 2023.

At the core of the collection are two limited-edition timepieces crafted from Fossil’s signature Machine platform. The Grass Block Machine Watch ($359) pays tribute to Minecraft’s early survival mode, while the Deepslate Machine Watch ($359) takes inspiration from deep-mining expeditions.

Both watches include a lenticular caseback that replicates the in-game experience of breaking blocks to reveal hidden elements.

Fossil has also introduced wallets with Minecraft’s signature pixel aesthetic – the Grass Block Leather Bifold ($119) with an all-over pixel embossing; and the Deepslate Leather Passcase ($139), which mimics a Minecart filled with Diamond blocks.

Completing the collection is the Creeper Bracelet ($139), an adjustable beaded bracelet featuring matt black and green beads etched with the Creeper face.

Each item in the collection comes packaged in exclusive Minecraft-themed tins, making them must-haves for fans.

Info: The collection is available from March 7 at fossilsg.com and selected Fossil stores

Jo Malone London’s new bath and body line

Jo Malone London’s new bath and body line incorporates insights from neuroscience and psychology to create scents that evoke specific feelings.

British fragrance and lifestyle brand Jo Malone London has unveiled a new bath and body collection after nearly a decade. The Care Collection features all-new scents developed through neurosensorial research, which explores how scents influence emotion, mood and overall sensory perception.

Drawing inspiration from ancient Roman bathing rituals, the collection features seven products, from body washes to moisturisers, each formulated to evoke a different sensory experience.

For those who love an invigorating start to their day, the Revitalise Exfoliating Soap ($41) buffs away dead skin cells with natural lemon peel and sage leaf botanicals, transforming into a refreshing lather infused with a citrus blend of lemon peel, bay laurel and verbena essential oils.

On the other end of the price spectrum, The Enrich Body Balm ($160) is a deeply nourishing blend of shea butter and hyaluronic acid, which leaves the skin with a velvety, satin-like finish. Its warm floral scent features rose, chamomile and cedarwood essential oils for a soothing experience.

Kiehl’s new lightweight body cream

Kiehl’s Ultra Body Mega Moisture Squalane Cream is supposed to work well in extreme conditions.

Kiehl’s has taken a cult favourite for the face and reformulated it for the entire body.

The American cosmetic brand’s latest launch, Ultra Body Mega Moisture Squalane Cream ($75), is inspired by its best-selling Ultra Facial Cream and delivers the same long-lasting hydration for the body.

Unlike the rich, glossy finish of Creme de Corps launched back in the 1980s, this cream is lightweight and cooling. Fast absorbing yet deeply nourishing, it promises to keep skin moisturised for up to three days, making it the ultimate upgrade for dry, dehydrated skin.

At the heart of its formula is glacial glycoprotein, a powerhouse ingredient derived from sea glaciers that is said to help skin lock in moisture and strengthen its natural barrier. Combined with squalane, ectoin and ceramides, it works to prevent water loss while keeping skin soft and supple, even in extreme weather conditions.

KraveBeauty’s expansion into make-up

KraveBeauty’s new refillable Plumptuous Lip Jelly made from upcycled ingredients is one of the most sustainable lip tints on the market.

American skincare brand KraveBeauty is stepping into the world of make-up with its first colour product: the Plumptuous Lip Jelly.

The non-sticky, lightweight lip jelly ($32; $26 for refills) is made with upcycled plum oil, MaxiLip peptides to firm and soften, and triolein, an emollient to boost hydration. With four juicy shades – Acai Dream, Guava Blush, Cherry Cola and Iced Persimmon – there is a tint for every vibe.

What sets the Plumptuous Lip Jelly apart is its commitment to sustainability. The upcycled plum oil is sourced from French plum kernels, a by-product of the food industry, while the triolein is derived from olive oil by-products.

Beyond the ingredients, the packaging is designed with the planet in mind – the refillable tube is said to cut plastic waste by 76 per cent.
