Chanel Winter Tale at Marina Bay Sands

French fashion house Chanel has partnered Marina Bay Sands to present Chanel Winter Tale, transforming the grand colonnade of the hotel into a winter wonderland.

A light installation showcases emblems of the luxury brand, including the No. 5 bottle, lion and camellia flower, set against a backdrop of swirling comets and delicate snowflakes.

There is also an immersive pop-up, The Magical House Of Chanel, where visitors can meander through a snowy forest and marvel at miniature scenes. The highlight is a special room dedicated to the legendary Chanel No. 5 fragrance, featuring an interactive experience that guides visitors in picking scents that best suit them ahead of the holiday gifting season.

The festivities will kick off on Nov 8 at 8pm, with a Christmas light-up ceremony, and run till Dec 31. The Magical House Of Chanel is open to the public from Nov 9 to Dec 25.

Dior’s Christmas pop-up and cafe at Ion Orchard

Dior Beauty is hosting a pop-up and cafe alongside its Christmas installation.

French fashion house Dior has transformed Ion Orchard into a dazzling wonderland to celebrate the Dior Cruise 2025 collection, which is a sartorial ode to Scotland.

The Christmas installation’s centrepiece – a towering, glimmering Dior star – stands outside the mall. Encircling this are whimsical paper-crafted animals symbolising elements of Scotland’s rich folklore.

Visitors can also immerse themselves in the Ball Of Dreams pop-up, inspired by Chateau de Versailles in France.

Designed by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo, it pays homage to designer Christian Dior’s lifelong fascination with the palace’s grandeur. Check out a selection of fragrances, skincare and make-up, as well as Dior’s Art of Gifting services. These include pouch embroidery, perfume engraving, gift wrapping and gold charms featuring iconic Dior symbols for gift personalisation.

Swing by the pop-up Dior Cafe too, on Level 1, adjacent to the Ball Of Dreams. While bookings for its high tea experience – a collaboration with local store L’eclair Patisserie – are closed, walk-in and takeaway for a la carte options are still available. Prices range from $8 for a cup of coffee or tea to $25 for six macarons.

Both pop-ups run until Jan 2, 2025.
