Romi Beauty was founded in 2022 by friends and local social media personalities Arissa Cheo, Lin Ting and Yoyo Cao. It launched with a “skin-first” philosophy rooted in the founders’ own lifestyles and needs.

Entrepreneur Cheo wanted gentle formulas to cater to sensitive skin types; and jet-setting fashion influencer Cao sought a curated selection of make-up essentials that were also hydrating. Mother-of-two Ting prized efficiency, wanting a beauty regimen of high-performing products that complemented her busy schedule.

Therabody launches TheraFace Mask Glo in Singapore

Your at-home wellness game just got an upgrade. Global wellness tech brand Therabody has debuted the TheraFace Mask Glo, an LED light therapy facial mask, in Singapore.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Therabody is better known for its percussive therapy tool Theragun, an electronic massage device that is said to help with alleviating pain.

American founder and chiropractor Jason Wersland created it to alleviate his own chronic pain after surviving a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2007. The handheld device, which uses frequency to target sore muscles and pain, has since been adopted by sports teams worldwide, such as Spanish football club Real Madrid.

The company brought high-performance wellness to the face in 2023 with the TheraFace Mask (US$649.99 or S$834, unavailable in Singapore), which paired red light therapy with its signature massage technique.

In October 2025, it launched the TheraFace Mask Glo ($549) at a more accessible price point, with American model Kendall Jenner fronting its campaign as its new ambassador.

Engineered to give professional-grade light therapy at home, the TheraFace Mask Glo has a lighter fit and fewer lights than the original. Yet, it is still a full-face mask with a dense array of 504 medical-grade lights that cover wrinkle-prone areas around the eyes and mouth.

Via a 12-minute guided programme, it delivers three treatments: red light to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots; red and infrared light, said to boost natural collagen production; and blue light, which targets acne-causing bacteria to prevent future breakouts.

Each treatment is paired with a gentle vibration massage that can also be turned off.

Lip-tint fanatics have another one to add to their collection. K-beauty leader Laneige has introduced the JuicePop Box Lip Tint ($32), a lightweight formula that glides onto lips with a water-fresh feel.

Containing a patented Water-Oil Remix Complex, the juicy lippie releases nourishing oils that help to lock in moisture and colour throughout the day. It is said to deliver up to 12 hours of buildable colour, leaving a light, glossy tint that deepens with each added layer.

Choose from eight out of 10 music-inspired shades, with names like Pop-Star Peach, Lo-Fi Mauve and K-Pop Pink. The full range will be available on April 9.

As a bonus for trinket lovers, the product comes with clip-on packaging so it can double as a bag charm that you will always have on hand for easy re-application.

Celine Beaute to launch lip balm

The French luxury brand’s beauty arm is growing.

Launching on April 2 in stores is the Le Rouge Celine Matte Lip Balm ($115, $75 for the refill) in one universal hue and seven tinted shades that range from a light nude with brown overtones to a smoky shade with purple accents.

Developed for Celine by the LVMH Research Laboratories, the balm is said to be composed of 94 per cent natural-origin ingredients such as squalane, sunflower wax and rice wax oils, and black rose oil extract. The result is an enveloping texture that leaves lips soft and supple.

A fresh and sugary rose accord scents the lip balm, recalling the powdery note of the brand’s Haute Parfumerie collection.

As with all luxury lippies, packaging is of the essence. Embossed with the Triomphe, the maison’s emblem, the refillable lip balms are dressed in faceted silver cases inspired by Art Deco and the French classicism of the late 18th century.

Info: Available from April 2 at Celine stores in Ion Orchard, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City
