SINGAPORE - When Ms Lala Wang found herself swimming in new baby clothes before she had even given birth, she realised the children's clothing industry had a huge waste problem.
The 34-year-old banker, who gave birth to a boy in July 2020, found that fellow parents here faced the same woe - they would buy trendy styles for their kids, who would outgrow them after one or two wears.
