A stunning gown or sharp tuxedo might steal the spotlight, but Hollywood celebrities know that no red-carpet look is complete without a statement-making watch.
The Golden Globes on Jan 5 – which kicked off Hollywood’s award season – saw stars flexing impressive tickers. The show-stoppers on display ran the gamut from Rolex to Richard Mille.
British pop legend Elton John killed it with a diamond-studded, white-gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with a mother-of-pearl dial, while American actor Colman Domingo – who was nominated for Best Actor, Drama, for his role in prison drama Sing Sing – flaunted an Omega Constellation 28mm with a PVD green dial.
Then there was Romanian-American actor Sebastian Stan – winner of Best Actor In A Musical Or Comedy for his role in the dark comedy A Different Man – who played it classy with his vintage Cartier Faberge, a model launched as part of the Collection Louis Cartier in the early 1970s.
Here are some of our favourite dazzlers from the Golden Globes.
