New Omega ambassador Park Bo-gum

Award-winning South Korean actor Park Bo-gum has officially joined the Omega family as a global brand ambassador, marking another milestone in his stellar year.

He shares the spotlight with international A-listers such as George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Eddie Redmayne and Daniel Craig, as well as fellow South Korean star Hyun Bin.

Omega president and chief executive Raynald Aeschlimann describes Park as an actor whose versatility, dedication and love for watches mirror the brand’s values.

Since debuting in the 2011 thriller Blind, the 32-year-old has built an impressive resume with popular K-dramas such as Reply 1988 (2015), which looks at life in 1980s Seoul, and period drama Love In The Moonlight (2016).  He hit a new peak in 2025 with projects such as intergenerational drama When Life Gives You Tangerines and action series Good Boy.

An accomplished pianist, he has also released several singles and a studio album Blue Bird (2020) in Japan.

For his Omega debut campaign, Park strapped on the new Seamaster Planet Ocean in stainless steel with a vivid blue bezel and dial.

Omega 42mm Speedmaster Moonwatch in Black and White

Beyond the faces it puts forward, Omega continues to evolve the watches themselves. One of its first moves of 2026 is a striking new take on the Speedmaster Moonwatch. The brand has unveiled two new 42mm models built around an inverted step-dial design, with a black upper plate set over a white subdial base.

The result is high contrast that looks sharp and reads sharper. Reversed minute tracks improve legibility, while black ceramic bezel rings, filled with a tachymeter scale in white enamel, add character.

Available in stainless steel or 18K Moonshine Gold, each watch features rhodium-plated or gold hands and markers coated with white Super-LumiNova for readability. The hallmark Moonwatch bracelet returns, now with Omega’s comfort release adjustment. Underneath, the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 drives both models, offering the reliability and accuracy that link today’s Moonwatch to its spacefaring past.

Price: $13,400 (steel), $63,600 (Moonshine Gold).

Zenith pushes colour to the edge with two new limited editions of the Defy Extreme Chroma.

Following earlier Chroma releases, the latest 45mm models pair titanium and ceramic with bold colour accents, dialling up contrast without losing the Defy’s sharp, industrial feel.

Available in black or white, both versions lean into angular geometry – from the faceted case to the dodecagonal bezel – while bright flashes of colour cut through the openworked dial.

Inside is the El Primero 9004, visible through sapphire, with colour-treated bridges and a star-shaped rotor adding visual punch to solid mechanics. The movement measures elapsed time to 1/100th of a second, powered by a high-frequency chronograph system.

Limited to 100 pieces, each Chroma edition comes with three interchangeable straps for quick changes on the wrist.

Price: $29,800

A. Lange & Sohne marks both its origins and its rebirth with the new Lange 1 Daymatic Honeygold, launched on Dec 7, 2025, the date Ferdinand A. Lange founded the company in 1845, and the same day it was revived 145 years later.

Limited to 250 pieces, this automatic take on the Lange 1 appears for the first time in the brand’s proprietary Honeygold alloy, paired with a brown solid-silver dial. The result is warm but restrained.

The familiar Daymatic layout remains intact: time on the right, outsized date on the left, with a retrograde day-of-week indicator completing the symmetry. The 39.5mm case and stepped dial add depth without excess, while Honeygold details sharpen the watch’s architectural lines.

The watch – worn on a taupe alligator strap – is fitted with an in-house self-winding movement finished to the German watchmaker’s exacting standards.

Hublot and Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto team up for their fourth collaboration, with black once more doing all the talking.

The result is the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo, a study in restraint and texture rather than colour.

Limited to 300 pieces, the 42mm watch is made from matt-black ceramic, giving the familiar Classic Fusion case a darker, more graphic edge. The monochrome camouflage dial reveals itself only in motion, as light catches the layered pattern.

Powering the watch is Hublot’s MHUB1110 automatic movement, visible through a smoked sapphire caseback. The strap continues the crossover theme, combining fabric and rubber to reflect Yamamoto’s fashion language and Hublot’s industrial approach.

Price: $17,100
