SINGAPORE – Over the past four years, entrepreneur Nicholas Lin has invested nearly $60,000 in high-tech devices, such as a red-light bed and a Pico laser machine, to turn his home into a personal clinic — administering treatments most people would trust only a professional to perform.

On top of his weekly ice baths and daily sessions under red-light panels for skin and hair rejuvenation, the 40-year-old does his own high-intensity focused ultrasound (Hifu) treatments monthly.
