In a bid to become more sustainable, fashion studio Gin Lee Studio launched bag-making workshops that promote circularity - 1) COTS, which uses colour-transfer technology to dye materials on-demand for its signature pleated bags 2) Tee-to-Bag, which upcycles old T-shirts into bags.

SINGAPORE – At Ginlee Studio, you can turn an unwanted, ordinary T-shirt into a bag.

Using either one tee ($88 for the experience) or two ($128), the hands-on workshop allows you to create a tote bag that retains the original identity of the tee, via its neckline.
