SINGAPORE – At the COP27, or the 27th United Nations climate change conference, which draws to a close in Egypt on Friday, greenwashing and sustainable materials have emerged as key themes.

Some of the world’s biggest fashion brands, such as H&M and Stella McCartney, were in attendance to discuss their targets to achieve net zero, although critics have branded these commitments as shaky.
