SINGAPORE – For some people, getting a chemical peel is akin to paying a visit to the dentist’s clinic.
The process certainly sounds scary. In chemical peels, exfoliant acids like alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) are applied to the face to remove dead skin and boost cell turnover.
