Singaporean piano prodigy Mikkel Lee, 11, to headline third solo concert at Esplanade

Mikkel will be making history as the youngest pianist ever globally to perform both Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 and Chopin Piano Concerto No.2 at a public concert.

His upcoming concert "Mikkel Stars Chopin" will be held at the Esplanade Concert Hall on June 6, 2023.

Young musician Mikkel Myer Lee will also participate in the Verbier Festival, an international music event in Switzerland, in July.

SINGAPORE – He turns 11 on June 9, but Mikkel Myer Lee has already accomplished what professional musicians twice or thrice his age aspire to achieve.

The Singaporean classical piano prodigy has composed sonatas, won international piano competitions in Europe and the United States, caught the attention of renowned pianists and received a special invitation to an international music festival in Switzerland.
