SINGAPORE – For the past year, eight-year-old Nurul Shafilla Edora has been having tuition to help her with learning problems associated with dyslexia.

Her mother, Ms Norazilah Mohammad, engaged the services of a tuition teacher for English because Shafilla, who is in Primary 2 in a mainstream school, has problems with reading.
