The 46-year-old, who has been working in Singapore in a logistics company since June 2023, says: “Staying here is a very wise decision as it is in a superb convenient area with numerous choices of various cuisines and bars,” comparing it to her previous serviced residence which was located in a business hub with limited amenities.

“We truly appreciated the kind gesture. All these moments make me feel like I am at home. Once, when I was in a rush for a golf game, the concierge team helped to carry my golf clubs from the Level 2 reception to the Level 1 driveway.”

When she cannot fit in a golf game, the fitness enthusiast uses the in-house gym at least thrice a week. She adds: “I find it very convenient, well-equipped and super functional. The gym is as good as commercial gyms.”

Live like a local in Village Residence Hougang: a relaxing respite from work

For Ms Amy Leong, who relocated from the US to Singapore for a new role in the semi-conductor industry in 2025, everything had to be convenient and effortless as she wanted a smooth transition before deciding on a permanent home.

“The apartment is also incredibly secure, with a 24/7 security guard and the Guest Service Executive, Meor, is always friendly and helpful, addressing any issues promptly,” she adds. “The staff here are exceptionally kind, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.”
