What is Chinese New Year without snacks? Pooches can snack on home-grown dog food-maker The Dog Grocer’s natural treats, such as the signature Coffee Pork Ribs ($23.80) and Krill Paste Chicken ($25), inspired by local hawker dishes.
The freeze-dried ribs are marinated with chicory root, a natural prebiotic that gives off a coffee-like aroma without the caffeine, and a touch of decaffeinated coffee to amplify that unmistakable kopi scent.
The air-dried Krill Paste Chicken, made with chicken breast and krill and a trace amount of low-sodium fish sauce, is a spin on har cheong gai (prawn paste chicken).
