SINGAPORE - When Ms Xinni Ng gave birth to her second child two years ago, she could not find a confinement centre here like the ones back home in Malaysia. She did not like the idea of a confinement nanny living with her, so her mother helped out instead.
"There is a need for some mummies to have a place to rest hassle-free and have someone take care of their baby," says Ms Ng, 34, who has another child aged four.
