SINGAPORE – Malaysia’s national carmaker Proton returned to Singapore in September 2025 after an 11-year absence, opening a new showroom in Leng Kee Road and introducing the mid-sized e.Mas 7 electric sport utility vehicle (SUV).
Yet, according to Land Transport Authority (LTA) new-car registration records, not a single Proton has been registered in Singapore since.
