SINGAPORE - The Automobile Association of Singapore has had several road safety campaigns over the years. Its latest one, Share the Road, was launched mid-last month (September).
It focuses on improving safety for non-drivers, pointing out that pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists make up 54 per cent of all road traffic deaths. A sobering figure, given that cars, trucks and buses make up the bulk of the vehicle population of almost one million.
