SINGAPORE - When Mr Jack Sim started the World Toilet Organisation two decades ago, many thought it was a joke.
But he did not mind and even embraced the nickname Mr Toilet. He reasoned that if being the butt of jokes helped in his cause of advocating better sanitation in poor countries, he was game.
