Long-term test: Owning an EV does not mean a sea change

SINGAPORE – As someone who lives in public housing like the majority of Singaporeans, access to charging is a major concern when it comes to deciding to own an electric vehicle (EV).

According to the latest statistics from the Land Transport Authority, there are about 8,870 EVs on the road. This represents just 1.36 per cent of the 650,323 cars out there. But the numbers are growing.
