KOMATSU/YOSHIOKA, Japan – Japan is a major automotive hub from which the likes of Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Subaru hail. All are storied and have their own museums, most being in or near Toyko.  

Besides these, there are also privately owned car museums, which are worth a visit.
