Limited-edition Porsche espresso maker
Porsche has partnered Italian coffee machine-maker La Marzocco to produce a special-edition Linea Micra portafilter model. Limited to 911 units, it comes in either Slate Grey Neo, which is a Porsche colour, or in the iconic Martini Racing design, inspired by the 911 Carrera RSR that won the Targa Florio endurance race in Sicily, Italy, in 1973.
Presented at an event in London on Oct 21, the espresso machine is said to incorporate Porsche-inspired cues. These include the twist handles for steam and hot water, which resemble the car’s drive mode switch, and the analogue pressure gauges that take reference from the 911’s speedometer.
Started in 1927 and based in Florence, Italy, the history of La Marzocco goes further back than that of the famed German sports carmaker, which was founded in 1931.
Available at Porsche Centres, Porsche’s online shop and Porsche Design stores, the espresso machine’s price starts at $9,040. Matching accessories, such as an electric coffee grinder, as well as espresso and cappuccino cups, are cost options.

Harmony Auto Singapore opened its showroom for the BYD and Denza brands at Alpine Centre at 7 Ubi Close on Oct 21.
The display area accommodates up to 10 vehicles in total, split between BYD and its luxury brand Denza.
Complementing the BYD Experience Centre at 77 Robinson Road, the facility in Ubi will also carry parts and accessories, on top of handling repair and maintenance.
Following the showroom opening, BYD launched its M6 electric multipurpose vehicle on Oct 22 at Gardens by the Bay. This is the only Category A certificate of entitlement (COE) seven-seat electric vehicle in Singapore.

The electric SR/F from American brand Zero Motorcycles is here.
It has a 17.3kWh power pack giving it a range of up to 283km when used in the city, or 189km on a mix of highway and city riding, before needing a recharge.
Filling up the batteries from 0 to 95 per cent takes 1.1 hours on a 6kW charger.
The electric motor makes 84kW at 5,600rpm, giving the SR/F a top speed of 200kmh. Other features include a premium steel trellis chassis, top-level equipment such as J.Juan brakes, Showa suspension, Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tyres and a Gates carbon belt drive.
Priced at $55,000 without COE, the Zero SR/F is at Mah’s showroom at 1179 Serangoon Road.

The updated Mini showroom at 27 Leng Kee Road was officially opened on Oct 23 together with the BMW Eurokars Flagship Centre at 29 Leng Kee Road.
Said to cost $59 million in total, work on the two facilities began in April. The BMW Eurokars Flagship Centre was completed in September and the Mini Habitat followed in October. The makeover aligns them with the latest global identity set by the respective brands.
Marking the opening, Mini also announced details for two new models – the Cooper five-door and the Aceman.
The Cooper five-door comes only in one variant – a 1.5-litre 152hp model, making it a Category B COE car. It is priced at $247,888 with COE.
The Aceman electric compact crossover vehicle is available in 110kW E and 160kW SE forms, priced respectively at $215,888 and $239,888, both with COE.
