Classic cars roll out festive joy
The Malaysia and Singapore Vintage Car Register (MSVCR) held its annual Christmas Light Up drive on Nov 11.
Flagging off from Tanglin Club in Stevens Road, 38 classic cars from the 1930s to 2000s took children from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore on a drive down Orchard Road to get into the festive mood.
Founded in 1955, the MSVCR is the oldest motoring club in the region. An eclectic array of cars participated in the 2025 drive – air-cooled Volkswagens, classic Minis, Range Rovers, a Daimler Limousine, a Buick Special Phaeton and a Honda Prelude. The oldest car that evening was a 1931 Rolls-Royce 25 Tourer.
