SINGAPORE – Yet another Chinese car brand is arriving here. Skyworth Auto, part of China’s leading home appliance-maker Skyworth, has appointed Opel agent Alpine Group as its dealer in Singapore.
The first model will be the Skyworth K, which has a 150kW motor powered by a 86kWh battery. According to Skyworth’s website, the mid-sized sport utility vehicle (SUV) is 4,720mm long, 1,908mm wide and 1,696mm tall with a 2,800mm wheelbase. This makes it between the size of the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Mercedes-Benz GLE.
