TARRAGONA (Spain) – South Korean carmaker Kia has stepped up its electric vehicle (EV) offensive with two new cars and a maiden range of lower-cost light commercial and purpose-built vehicles.

The Hyundai-owned manufacturer unveiled the mid-sized EV4 – available in hatchback and saloon forms – as well as the EV2 compact concept at its 2025 EV Day here this week. It also unveiled its entry into the light commercial vehicle market with the PV5 – the first of its so-called purpose-built EVs catering to a range of fleet and special needs customers.
