SINGAPORE – From 2003 to 2018, a car called the Toyota Wish sold like the proverbial hot cakes. It was a remarkably roomy seven-seater with a relatively small footprint, its seats were highly configurable and you could fold the second and third rows flat to carry a three-seater sofa.
It was competitively priced, and had a city-tuned engine and transmission that offered surprising efficiency and driveability. And it was also reasonably stylish.
