SINGAPORE – The future may be electric, but combustion engines – in one form or another – look likely to remain for several more decades.
Take the case of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The company is slated to unveil its first electric model later in 2024, and plans to have electric variants across its product line-up by 2030. But in the same breath, the Tata-owned group says combustion hybrid versions will continue to be produced.
